Natsumi Suga (須賀 夏美 Suga Natsumi) is a university student who works at a small editing studio and one of the three tritagonists of Weathering With You.

Natsumi has long brown hair, sometimes in a ponytail, purple eyes, and long eyelashes. She usually wears casual cleavage clothing that expose her arms and legs. She also wears nail polish, and wristbands.

Natsumi is a carefree and mischievous young woman who enjoys teasing others, as she enjoys watching Hodaka squirm when she guessed correctly that he was staring at her chest. Despite this, she is kind, caring and loyal, keeping her uncle company, warning Hina Amano about the risks of being a Sunshine Girl, and helping Hodaka Morishima find Hina despite his status as a criminal. She's a fan of urban legends and all stories supernatural, contrasting to her uncle and Hodaka who only seek them for monetary gain.

Natsumi was born circa 2001 to Keisuke’s older brother and his wife. By 2021, she had developed an estranged relationship with her father (for presumably reasons relating to sympathy and favoritism towards Keisuke) and decided to live with her uncle.
2021[]
Natsumi and Hodaka see a fortune teller.
Natsumi first appears when Hodaka enters Keisuke's office in search of a job. Hodaka mistakes her as Keisuke's mistress. After Hodaka's hired, the two investigate urban legends relating to the unusual weather in Tokyo; from a psychic, they hear the legend of a 'Sunshine Girl' and a 'Rain Girl'—beings who can control the weather.
After Hodaka meets Hina, Hodaka talks with Natsumi about Sunshine Girls and the woman swoons at the idea of being a Sunshine Girl, then asking Hodaka when his date with her was. Hodaka protests that it's not a date as Natsumi gets up to leave.
Later, Natsumi writes out her resumé as she waits in the car for Keisuke to get off the phone. Keisuke eventually gets into the car with Natsumi and they discuss Hodaka and his other job together, Natsumi becoming disgusted at Keisuke as he tells her how little he pays him.
Keisuke and Natsumi continue to investigate urban legends surrounding the mysterious girl who can change the weather. They visit a priest at a shrine who tells them a legend of a weather maiden whose power comes at a great price.

During Keisuke's meet-up with Moka Suga in the park, Natsumi arrives, which causes Hodaka to exclaim, turn to Keisuke and asks him if he'll be in trouble with her since he has a wife. Keisuke laughs at his misunderstanding and Hina and Natsumi accuse him of being a pervert. Nagi and Moka call Keisuke and Hodaka over to them as Natsumi sits with Hina and they discuss the departed men and their similarities. Natsumi asks Hina how she's been, telling her of the dangerous Sunshine Girl rumour the priest informed her of.
After Hodaka is arrested and escapes the police to look for Hina, who'd disappeared as Natsumi warned she would, Natsumi catches up to the boy as he runs. She offers him a ride on her motorcycle and drops him off when she reaches a large puddle and can't go further on the bike. Natsumi is later apprehended, and watches with Keisuke and Nagi as the rain begins again, a sign that Hodaka has saved Hina.

Natsumi is seen to still be close with the Suga family and Nagi even after 3 years, as Keisuke shows Hodaka in a photo of them he has on his phone.
