Asuka Suga (須賀 明日花 Suga Asuka), née Mamiya (間宮 Mamiya) is the late wife of Keisuke Suga and the mother of Moka Suga.
Appearance[]
Asuka was a woman of average height with wavy brown hair that passed her shoulders, parted to her right with a pink hair slide that held her bangs from her eyes on the left side of her forehead. She wore a long-sleeved white shirt and a dark pink under-bust skirt that was fastened over her shoulders with two thin straps.
Personality[]
Little is known about Asuka's personality, although it's noted that she and Keisuke were deeply in love with each other and were a happy family before Asuka's untimely passing.

Asuka met Suga when he ran away to Tokyo. They later married, and Asuka gave birth to Moka on March 3, 2016. She then died in an accident a few years before the events of Weathering With You.

- Asuka's surname contains the kanji for "necessity, ought" (須 su) and "joy" (賀 ga), and her first name is written with "tomorrow" (明日 asu) and "flower" (花 ka). Her maiden name contains the kanji for "interval, space, while" (間 ma) and "temple, shrine" (宮 miya).
- Asuka's given name has a different kanji writing in the novel: 明日香.
