Megumi Amano (天野 恵 Amano Megumi) is the mother of Hina Amano and Nagi Amano and a minor character in Weathering With You.
Appearance[]
Not much of Megumi's appearance is shown, but she's seen to have brown hair and notably pale skin in comparison to Hina Amano's, whether this be from sickness or otherwise.
Personality[]
Nothing is known of Megumi's personality, but it can be inferred that she meant a great deal to Hina and Nagi Amano and was thus likely a kind a doting mother to her children.

History[]
Megumi presumably married and had two children, Hina in 2006 and Nagi in 2011, with an unknown man, but he likely died or divorced Megumi prior to the events of the story.
On September 14, 2020, Megumi passed away of an unknown illness in a hospital near Yoyogi Kaikan in the midst of irregular weather. Prior to her passing, Hina was desperately wishing to take Megumi outside in a sunny weather.
